Giving Back

Our magazine started as a creative exercise to connect our love for the outdoors and design. In 2020 we swore in a new role for the magazine as a tool to inspire creativity, empower storytellers, and give back to charity. With each issue, we raise funds for a local organization doing good for our world.

2021

We've kick-started the new year with a new issue of Broken & Coastal, which raised $4000 for Ride for Racial Justice. A nonprofit organization exists to ensure access to resources, education, and community for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) cyclists and to dismantle systemic racism so that EVERYONE can feel safe, free, and empowered to ride a bicycle.

2020

Inspired to do our part in making the world a better place, we swore in a new role for the magazine as a tool to inspire creativity and give back to charity. Proceeds from Volume 05 were donated to The Trevor Project. Over $9000 was donated to the nonprofit that provides crisis intervention and suicide-prevention services to LGBTQ and queer-questioning youth nationwide.
