Sort turns images into character topography. It reads the brightness of whatever you give it — a photo, a shape, a noise field — and rebuilds it out of letters from a ramp. Darker regions get denser characters. Lighter regions get sparser ones. The result is a quantized, printable, almost geological version of the thing you started with. It's a printmaking tool for zines, posters, brand moments, and anyone who likes making legible things out of illegible ones.

WHAT IT DOES
· Seven built-in scenes (ridge, coast, valley, dunes, city, field, bowl)
· Upload your own images, or layer them with shape masks
· Twelve procedural noise fields (terrain, cellular, plasma, rings, and more)
· Weave hidden phrases into the topography at any visibility
· Ten monospace font presets, or upload your own
· Custom text and background colors; optional background image
· Paint mode for erasing cells directly
· Print formats (Letter, Tabloid, A4, Poster) and digital aspect ratios
· Export as SVG (vector), PNG (300 DPI), or plain text
