On this episode of Ferns and Berms, I head out to Capitol Forest for the 3rd race in the Cascadia Dirt Cup Enduro Series. Killer tracks, amazing conditions, and even better vibes. I think I am really into this whole Enduro thing.
So I did it! I raced my first Enduro and it was ####ing rad!
For those of you just joining my name is Christopher San Agustin and I am the founder of Broken & Coastal, an independent cycling magazine and design studio based in Portland, Oregon.
I am filming a video series documenting my experience as a first-time racer competing in the 2019 Cascadia Dirt Cup.
Yesterday kicked off the first race of the Portland Short Track Series at the Portland International Raceway. Excellent weather in combination with a bunch of rad people made for one hell of an opening race day.
I am not much of a racer and with the new format, I am in the queue with the faster guys and gals. I am torn between racing next week or just showing up to drink beer and watch. The other option is to race single speed?
If you raced yesterday, what do you think of the new format? In my opinion, the Men and Women Cat 1 + Elite should be racing together without the addition of Cat 2.
