My buddy started me out on a Bronson 1 with a bunch of spare parts while I was living in Santa Cruz. Since then I've owned two 5010's and have been super happy in the jibby trail category. I don't think my riding style has changed but I am finding myself pushing the limits of the 5010 just way too much.

The 2017 Portland N.O.I.S.E. Ride went off this weekend and it was seriously a wet one! The N.O.I.S.E. Ride stands for The N.orth O.regon I.nternational S.ingle speed and has been going on for over 12 years. Cycling is supposed to be fun and the Portland N.O.I.S.E. Ride takes you back to the days of popping wheelies down alley ways and crashing on muddy baseball fields. Smiles for miles!
Everyone met at Fresh Pot on Mississippi. While some rides sipped coffee others got the party started. It's never too early for a beer on a rainy weekend in Portland.
Last years winner Scott Wanhala of Poler CX led the charge.
Back alleys and bridges to the first stop of the day.
It's never too early...
Bike-Buzkashi is a staple at the Portland N.O.I.S.E. Ride.
"The game of Buzkashi seems to have originated in Afghanistan where it is still the country’s national sport.
Legend has it that the game was first invented centuries ago when Afghan tribes would gallop up on horseback to steal a rival tribe’s goats from their flock. Both defensive and offensive strategies were used which developed into a formalized game whose rules are to this day a bit mysterious."
